Lush Christmas gifts!

I know it's a bit late BUT I hope everyone had a good chrimbo and a even better start to the New Year than I did.
Christmas however was pretty good for me and one of the things I was most looking forward to was trying "foreign" lush items. "Retro" as it's also known on the websites and in stores.
I just wanted to do a real small review on what I thought of them for you. I have no got my brother and his neighbour into Lush! WOOP!

It's MAAAGGGIIIICCCC!!

Its a rare treat for me as in the UK we can't get this in the stores. You can sometimes get in on Ebay and on the Lush websites, but only recently did they start doing them again. I'd been wanting to try this since I first went to Lush and someone said "you HAVE to try this if you like colourful things". Omg, was they ever right, it turns the water a wonderful deep sapphire blue with a hint of plum at the end. It almost had a "moody" effect like deep in depression, but the scent is anything but that. It's got basil woody spicy undertones with this small hint of peppermint which alert your whole body but soothes in the process. So hard to describe, but if I closed my eyes I almost felt like I was in some hot country being served some aromatic foods!
This is one I definately want to try again when and if I can get my hands on it!!

RAINBOW WORRIER:

I lurrrvee LURVE LURRRVE this bath ballistic. ONE because I'm the biggest worrier, pessimistic person I have ever met. I worry if I'm not worrying about something!!! O_O
It looks plain and simple, but don't let the look of it fool you, the smell if PURE luxury.
With deep sandalwood and vetivert notes, the scent of Rainbow Worrier fills the house and scents your skin, so you can inhale the relaxing fragrance for hours after you leave the tub. This is especially important for those of us who are always worrying about everything. The calming fragrance reminds us to take deep breaths, stay in the present, and relax. There are things we can't control (like what colour this bomb will turn your bath water), so there's no sense worrying about it! For some odd reason I couldn't find it on the Lush order list or how much it was, but usually they're around £4-£5 but totally worth EVERY penny, if you want a treat this is defo it.
I got this sent to me from Canada I believe (I had 3 Lush parcels this year as presents!!) I can't get one here :( I think it's a very unhyped product, which is a shame as it is truely amazing to watch!!

ICE HOTEL:

Ice hotel bath crummble is the plain soft ivory coloured biscuit looking thing with purpley sparkle glitter on top in the stamped area.
There's not alot to say about this product really, but it definately wakes you up and makes you feel fresh and almost cool afterwards. This one contains peppermint and Lavender which is subtle once in the bath. I don't know the price but I imagine between £2.75 and £3.50 like some of the others.

Ne worry pas bath ballistic ( Don't worry be happy phrase) £4.75/$6.25

We've taken this advice to heart and created Ne Worry Pas to help your worries fizzle away. Bergamot raises spirits so it'll get you over the trauma of the day, no matter just how bad it was. As a bonus, soya milk leaves skin soft and refreshed. With a delicate fragrance and milky white bath water, this one is subtle and perfect for calming you down.

Fizzy O Therapy Bath Ballistic (£4.00?)
Loosen up with a Fizzy O Therapy in the tub when your body is feeling the strain. If you've wound yourself up like a pretzel at the yoga studio, spun one too many times in spinning class, or just spent too long hunched over the computer, drop one of these in the tub and let it go to work soothing tense, sore muscles. It's a spicy bath bomb with ginger, cloves, cinnamon and coriander to help you and your muscles unwind. Follow up with a strong Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar rub down to keep your whole person suitably calm and relaxed. I definately felt this helped my muscles and I'd use it again, however it was small, didn't last long and didn't make any pretty colours :( Poop.

Christmas Kisses Bubble bar £2.80
"Put the heat back into your kisses, whip up a frenzy of foam with your spicy Bubble Bar. The scents of lime and sweet wild oranges instantly uplift, and the zingy aroma cinnamon leaf and clove leaf oils will wrap you in a warm embrace. When you feel left out in the cold, spice things up with some Christmas Kisses."

I definately felt the heat on this one, the smell reminds me of cinnamon grahams and brown sugar for some odd reason. I couldn't smell much of the orange or lime but the cloves stood out out and in the water. Sadly, I thought this was a bath bomb only to throw it in my bath and realise it was a crummble one you run under the tap whilst the bath is running. OOPS. Mega blonde moment but the bath went a funky orangey red colour like when using the santa ones. Yummy!!

That's all I can remember for the moment folks, stay tuned for more Seji rammbling soon!! I'll be back on youtube shortly for more video antics!

Lush Review No.2

I'm baaaaaacccccccccccck.
Ok. So 5 months+ later is a long time to be away...but I promise you, I've had some time to re-sort myself out, life, person and all. I've finally sorted my therapy out and I'm still doing the CBT practices at home daily, I've seen a MASSIVE improvement in the less nervous symptoms side!
Any I'll blog about all the boring stuff in the next few days. First things first LUSSSSHH.
I've tried sooo many new products recently that I feel rather overwhelmed and am starting to look like a 24 hr prune.

Lets start with the Valentine's Day products:

I saw them on my facebook updates and had to go out and buy them immediately:

The X-factor bath man: £1.95 each
The X-Factor is a bath balisstic with two stories. In one story the heart of this man is burning with passion for you and you both can't wait to get together. In the other story, the man has broken your heart , whcih gives him the eX factor. In that story you break his little neck, arms and legs to dissolve him in the water of your tub. If only he lasted a little longer, but I did enjoyed dunking his head in, then his leg and arm one at a time hehe. Very cute as a little gift especially if given with a gingerbread biscuit in a mini basket full of blue love heart cookies too!
He's jam packed with vanilla and ylang ylang (also what I call seduction oil) hehe.

Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar: (crummble under a running tap). £2.30/100g

It's so cute!! It smells of yummy strawberries and cream, and c'mon how many people don't like that scent! It turns the bath a pretty orangey red colour and it reminds me of Super Mario lol.
It's wonderfully sugary and light in scent so it's not over-powering, but it definately lasted on my skin for a good few hours before work. I wish they were bigger too though and I wish they did a cherries shortcake version that was hot pink or purple with white spots :(

Frog Prince bath ballistic: £2.75

The first time I saw this I laughed because to me green is a boys colour, so it looked like a male
frog with lippie on. The frog itself is the powery bath fizz but the lips are a smooth moisturising melt so be careful when touching as red does come off it like lipstick!! I'm not sure it's worth £2.75 but it's definately unique and the smell is quite floraly!

NOTE: There were 3-4 other valentines products including a soap, gel, and massage bar however I don't really use those kinds of items that much as massage bars last agggess and so do the soaps for me as I cut them into pieces to use for each bath. The ones I have reviewed are one's I actually used with my honest opinion. Thankyou!
